The Ministry of National Defense contributes to enhance the personal welfare of each soldier and combat power by providing military apparel to those who serve their duties. Since this kind of supply project is separate from weaponry, it has often been neglected in terms of importance and priority.
    However, military apparel, which makes each solider eligible for direct excise, should never be neglected. Its significance should also be emphasized because it directly influences the army’s fighting spirit.
    However, the quality of military apparel has been pointed out several times. The heels of combat boots easily detach in spite of being produced by in depth research and development for a long period of time. With regards to supply, excessive private contracts have lead to poor quality in military clothes. Therefore, this report focuses on figuring out structural problems and further discussing the improvement plan.
    According to the evaluation, cutting private contracts has rarely happened in the past, and credibility problems were raised by a poor performance plan. In spite of the increasing budget, satisfaction has been at a standstill. In this sense, various measures are required to improve the military apparel sector by means of proposing related regulation for efficient satisfaction survey.
