Firstly, this report reviews the revenue structure and tax burden in 2007 and forecasts tax revenues for the period of 2008~2012. It also compares the NABO projections to those produced by the executive branch and explains where the differences are in these two sources. Secondly, this report reviews The 2008 Proposals for the Korean Tax System announced in September 2008 by the executive branch and estimates the revenue effects of the Proposals. It also evaluates the Proposals from the viewpoint of the National Assembly.
