Just like the 2013 National Finance of Korea published earlier, the 2013 Handbook of National Finance contains the latest information. It reflects changes in the government ministries and standing committees of the National Assembly, as well as the revised budget. The handbook is useful in that it provides accurate statistics on the nation’s finance in a timely manner.
This publication is made in the form of a portable pocket book for easy reference of statistics by committee members when they review proposed budgets or final accounts, or deliberate on legislative bills. The same content is also available on a mobile app.
This handbook is organized in three parts. Part I, National Account Statistics, provides national finance statistics, including the national budget, funds, government debt, and outlays. Part II, Committee Statistics, offers information on the finances and major nationally-funded programs of ministries overseen by the standing committees. Part III, Economic Statistics, presents various key macroeconomic statistics such as GDP, employment, and prices.
