NABO provides mid-long term fiscal demand by category of programs annually. In 2009, we tried to estimate total cost projects in major financial programs to figure out fiscal demand by 2020. The purpose here is to support both budget assessment and Assemblymen in the mid-long term.
In SOC, Environment, Agriculture, Industry/energy programs, it is 98,212 billion won (2009~2020) that is determined to be executed by 2020, while additional 4,321 billion won is under examination of budget process (2010~2020).
SOC projects take part in more than 90% of total cost projects. The existing SOC projects are amounted to 92,350 billion won in 2009~2020 and the amount of newly introduced projects will reach 3,719 billion won in 2010~2020, which 96,060 billion won in total. In spite of the large amount of fiscal demand of SOC projects, the exact amount in SOC total projects after 2014 is not supervised yet.
