Published June, 2016

The Fiscal Program Evaluation and Case Studies aims to support lawmakers' legislative activities by introducing the program evaluation system currently implemented by the National Assembly Budget Office (NABO) and its major cases, for the opening session of the 20th National Assembly.
The Fiscal Program Evaluation and Case Studies report explains target programs, methodologies, processes and standards of the NABO evaluation. The report also includes, for reference, major evaluation systems implemented by the government in accordance with applicable laws.
The latter part of the report selects and introduces some of the cases, by type, where reports published by NABO have been utilized in revising laws, deliberating on budgets and settlements, parliamentary inspection of government offices, and so on. It also contains several cases where the government, in agreement with the intent of NABO reports, has reflected  in its policies the suggestions made therein.
