  Bill Cost Estimates Team of the National Assembly Budget Office(NABO), one of the supporting bodies of the National Assembly, has worked on providing bill cost estimates at the requests of Members and committees of the National Assembly in order to indicate the effects of government spending over five or more years. NABO has been requested a total of 588 cases of bill cost estimates related to expenditure since its foundation in 2004 and has produced 481 cost estimates and conducted consultation, researches and analyses.

2007 Bill Cost Estimates Cases, the fourth casebook, is published to offer information on current condition of cost estimates and its improvement for Members of the National Assembly, political party members, public officers and journalists interested in cost estimates. This casebook is composed of two parts. In the first part, brief history and present condition of bill cost estimates from the beginning of 17th National Assembly to the end of 2007 is introduced through various angles. In the second part, among the 143 cases of cost estimates, sixteen most important cases in 2007 regarding organization, work, compensation and welfare are reported.
